Come here all the time even though I don't live close. Very authentic Korean dish. You can't find some of their dishes from other places. If you like natto, you'll love their pure soy soup. They also have raw crab and cold noodles. Both are very good. The cold noodles portion is bigger than other restaurant, so full so good. The fried pork chop is huge, crispy and delicious. I believe this restaurant is owned by a family. The owner is very nice and the little boy is very polite and cute too.

I had lunch here with my parents and overall it was good, but because I can't eat sesame seeds I was very limited in what I could eat, as they marinade almost everything in sesame seeds - like I couldn't eat any of their banchan/side dishes :(
We ordered the seafood pancake ($17.99), beef bulgogi ($15.99) and sweet and sour deep fried chicken ($20.99) - this dish is usually with pork, but they were ok to substitute chicken. We originally wanted to get the fried chicken with sweet and spicy sauce but we were told that the sauce contained sesame seeds, so the lady recommended the sweet and sour sauce. My mom also wanted to get the giant dumplings (I think they are called Wang Mandu), but they said they don't serve them anymore.
They give you 6 banchan/side dishes here. I will just list them because I couldn't eat them since every single one was marinaded in sesame seeds. My dad loved them though. Kimchi, bean sprouts, eggplant, wakame seaweed, gosari namul, and tofu.
I couldn't eat the beef bulgogi either because it too was marinaded in sesame seeds. I did notice that the portion size was a bit small and there was more liquid in the dish than I've seen at other locations. My mom was not thrilled by the beef bulgogi.
The seafood pancake was big, thick and full of green onions, squid and shrimp. It was good, but a bit oily.
The fried chicken with sweet and sour sauce was tasty. We got the sauce on the side. The chicken was boneless thigh meat, which I realize most people like because it is more flavourful and juicy, but I personally prefer the leaner breast meat. The batter was not crispy but rather soft and slightly chewy, a bit reminiscent of choux pastry, but obviously not choux pastry, lol. The dish was garnished with pieces of raw carrots and raw apples.
Service was courteous. The wait time for the food was a bit long though.
I wish I was able to eat more items there. My parents were able to eat everything and my dad really liked everything, but my mom thought things were just ok.
The restaurant is in a strip mall with other restaurants and a few medical clinics. Lots of free parking. -

Average. Maybe I ordered the wrong items?
I got the Dolsot Bibimbap ($13.99) and the Spicy Beef/Leek Soup ($11.99). Both items, although tasty barely had any protein. My soup comprised mainly of onions and bean sprouts. Bibimbap was priced a bit higher for something that resembled a veg dish.
Eating it the next day, the soup is actually very salty and super spicy! More than a medium spicy, for sure.
The restaurant did have a strange smell when I entered (old gym socks), but I didn't notice it when I left. -

Came here tonight as a party of 4 and indulged in what I can only summarize as a pretty friggen awesome meal. We were initially drawn here by the promise of the raw crab delicacy and I'm glad we came because we found ourselves leaving with full bellies and happy smiles.
Let's start with the side dishes - they were AMAZING. The kimchi was crunchy with just the perfect balance of chili pepper paste and vinegar and I really enjoyed the flavour and texture of the fish cake. I've also never been to a Korean restaurant that offered eggplant as a side dish before and it was SO delicious that my table had to order refills of it 3 times.
Now as for the main dishes, we got a little ahead of ourselves and ordered the raw crab marinated in soy sauce (2 crabs), the spicy raw crab (3 crabs), seafood pancake, spicy dumpling soup, and a beef bulgogi soup.
The raw crab is definitely an acquired taste and as others may have mentioned, it is very comparable to sea urchin (uni). It's got an odour/taste that resembles the ocean and a slimy texture. The order also comes with rice because let me warn you now - the marinade is S.A.L.T.Y! It was definitely enjoyable to try. The spicy raw crab on the other hand is S.P.I.C.Y! Since I don't have the tolerance for it, I didn't dare to touch it but even my friends who normally enjoy spicy foods struggled a bit with it. Order at your own risk!
The seafood pancake did not disappoint (and I had really hoped that it wouldn't because it was so expensive)! It was a good balance of crunchy batter, octopus legs, and fresh fragrant green onions. The portion was relatively big and it definitely satisfied the craving I was having.
I never tried the spicy dumpling soup for myself but from appearance, the dumplings were MASSIVE. There also seemed to be generous portions of tofu, napa cabbage, king oyster mushroom, and ~4-5 dumplings.
The beef bolgogi soup was on the sweeter side than salty/umami, which may play to personal preferences, but the beef was nice and tender. It came with glass noodles and was a great dish to eat with rice. I particularly enjoyed that they served purple rice here.
Overall, I 100% would recommend people to check this place out, especially if they want to try the raw crab delicacy. The employees are mostly fully Korean with limited English literacy but are very nice and accommodating. I think I'd come back just for the side dishes! -

I was craving for marinated crab ages ago and found out this restaurant has it, above all my expectations, this restaurant is killing it! The crab is a little bit smaller than the one I tried in Korea BUT the sauce is really tasty(prepare that you'll eat lots of rice cuz it's a perfect match with the crab), we also order the spicy beef soup, had to say- BEST one ever.
